Fascinating history, untouched natural beauty and exceptional cuisine, Croatia has it all and cruising is one of the best ways to experience everything this amazing destination has to offer.
On this unforgettable holiday, your gorgeous floating hotel will take you to two well-known historic cities, an array of picturesque islands and here’s the best bit, you only have to unpack once!
We’ve searched high and low to find a beautiful ship that’s small enough to visit Croatia’s tiny unspoilt islands, yet large enough for everyone to have the comfort and space they need to relax. The MV Adriatic Pearl carries less than 40 passengers, and we’ve chartered it exclusively so the only people on board will be your crew and other Travelsphere holidaymakers.
The carefully crafted itinerary includes guided tours of must-see sights and enough free time for you to make the holiday your own. Delve into the history of your destination, soak up the atmosphere or sample the local cuisine – the choice is yours! And, on top of all that, as you cruise from port to port, you can soak up the sun on deck and swim in the crystal-clear waters of secluded coves and shimmering bays.
Croatia is becoming more well known for its variety of wines and this morning we have an included tasting. You'll try a variety of locally sourced wines with an insight into how they are made and which regions of Croatia produce the best varieties.
After a welcome 'Adriatic Pearl' cocktail followed by lunch, we’ll arrive in Korcula, a laid-back island blanketed by dense pine forests. The reputed birthplace of famous adventurer Marco Polo, it boasts a well-preserved medieval walled city. Step ashore and you’ll discover atmospheric streets watched over by the majestic St Mark’s Cathedral. Built in the 15th century from pale-coloured limestone, this impressive building features a façade decorated with intricate figures and statues, and a lovely bell tower topped by an ornately carved dome.
This afternoon, you can join your Holiday Director and discover the sights of Korcula on a guided walking tour. As night falls, you’re free to stay in Korcula Town and dine in a restaurant of your choosing. Alternatively, if you'd like to try some Dalmatian specialities, our optional excursion to Zrnovo, one of the oldest villages on the island, includes a home-cooked dinner.
Meals included: B,L
Today you will be travelling to one of the most famous islands in Europe - Hvar. You'll want to be on deck this afternoon to admire the sensational views as your ship approaches land, with its fields of fragrant lavender, vineyards and ancient olive groves. In the main town, also called Hvar, there’s a lovely seafront promenade and an array of elegant old buildings to admire, including the Cathedral of St Stephen which sits in the town’s main square. When we arrive, we'll enjoy a short walking tour before some free time in Hvar town. We'll then travel to the much quieter and more refined Stari Grad where the vessel will dock overnight.
Meals included: B,L
After your final breakfast on board the ship it’s time to say farewell to your crew and fellow passengers. After disembarking in Seget Donji, we’ll transfer you to the airport in good time for your return flight home.
Meals included: B
Please note: In some ports you will be required to cross other vessels in order to access the ship. Passengers will also need to ascend and descend steps when moving between decks.
Discover Mljet National Park, a beautiful combination of saltwater lakes and dense forest, and home to a Franciscan monastery.
Your ship is exclusively chartered for Travelsphere guests. Facilities include a dining room, bar, sun deck with hot tub and sun loungers with towels provided, plus a swimming platform for easy access. Cabins have en suite facilities, air-conditioning, TV and hair-dryer with daily cabin cleaning. Your holiday price is based on a lower deck cabin. If you would like to upgrade to a main deck cabin please call and our Holiday Advisors will be happy to assist.
